Description

You will own the global database infrastructure strategy and operational health.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate database strategy into technical roadmaps and practical implementation plans.
• Validate design plans, quotes, and orders from vendors and contractors.
• Coordinate database-related changes, incidents, and problems to ensure quality.
• Report on the operational health of the global database infrastructure.
• Act as an OEM ambassador to optimize usage and introduce new features across database, middleware, and DevOps teams.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience focusing on technical database roadmaps.
• Expertise in Oracle/OEM, MSSQL, MySQL, Postgres, and CouchDB.
• Advanced knowledge of EM 13.4 installation, configuration, and usage.
• Experience working within IT Service Management processes such as ITIL.
• Proven track record of participating in complex technical projects.
• Strong understanding of design compliance and internal auditing programs.
• Professional English communication skills.
• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Technical Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Valid industry certifications such as EMCSA or NCDA.

Preferred Skills

• Participation in domain architecture governance to design the future state of the global database domain.
• Provide capacity management for the service and input for capacity planning.
