Description

Lead the technical direction for Android application development.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack components.
• Integrate features by consuming RESTful APIs and parsing JSON/XML data.
• Optimize application performance, identify bottlenecks, and debug complex issues.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Gradle, and Git.
• Mentor junior developers and drive adherence to clean architecture principles.

Required Skills

• 8+ years in Android development.
• 3-5 years experience with Kotlin.
• Proficiency with MVVM, MVP, MVI, and clean architecture patterns.
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and handling JSON/XML.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, specifically Jenkins and Gradle.
• Demonstrable commitment to writing testable code, including TDD principles.
• Strong proficiency with Git and collaborative version control workflows.
