Description

You will lead the design and development of enterprise-grade applications and backend services, including COBOL migrations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications using Java SE and Java EE.
• Implement backend services and APIs for web and mobile platforms.
• Conduct architectural reviews to optimize performance and scalability.
• Lead system modernization efforts, including COBOL migrations.
• Mentor developers and collaborate with product managers and BAs to deliver solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java (SE & EE), OOP, and design patterns.
• Experience with Spring, Hibernate, and Struts.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Hands-on experience with Maven, Gradle, and Git.
• Experience with relational databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of multi-threading, concurrency, and testing frameworks like JUnit or Mockito.
• Exposure to front-end technologies including Angular, React, HTML, and CSS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Hadoop, Kafka, or Spark.
