Description

You will lead the design and maintenance of scalable Ruby on Rails applications, ensuring code quality and architectural integrity across multiple teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver production-quality software systems that solve platform-level problems.
• Write efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code adhering to strict object-oriented principles and design patterns.
• Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices to maintain high code reliability and comprehensive test coverage.
• Build and maintain internal and external APIs and RESTful web services for seamless system integration.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to ensure holistic application development and data consistency.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience solving platform-level problems and delivering production-quality systems.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Deep expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and the MVC architectural pattern.
• Experience building enterprise-class web applications.
• Proficiency with Git for version control and familiarity with CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of server-side templating languages (Liquid, Slim) and CSS preprocessors.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
• Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into unified systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building internal and external APIs and RESTful web services.
