Description

Lead technical execution and architecture for Java-based distributed systems. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement distributed system architectures and microservices.
• Drive development using test-driven development (TDD) methodologies.
• Manage code versions using SVN or equivalent systems.
• Operate within Agile Scrum frameworks to deliver software components.
• Oversee the integration of CI/CD systems, specifically Jenkins.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Strong proficiency in Spring AOP, Spring Security, and Spring Batch.
• Experience building RESTful webservices and microservices.
• Fullstack capabilities including Angular, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, and Bootstrap.
• Database and messaging experience with PL/SQL and RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of build tools including Maven and Ant.
• Experience with Kafka and distributed system design.
• Proficiency in English for reading, writing, and speaking.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Drools, Jasper Server, Camunda, or jBPM.
• Background in the Airlines industry.
