Description

You will lead offshore data engineering and reporting teams, owning solution design, delivery, and production stability for ETL pipelines and analytical dashboards.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data ingestion, transformation, and aggregation pipelines on Databricks.
• Architect analytical datasets, Power BI semantic models, and React-based front-end components.
• Mentor offshore developers and enforce engineering standards to drive technical upskilling.
• Monitor production jobs, triage failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive fixes.
• Coordinate with onsite teams as the primary offshore point of contact to resolve incidents within SLA.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software or data engineering.
• Strong SQL expertise, including complex joins and performance tuning.
• Proficiency with Databricks, Spark (PySpark preferred), DataFrames, and Delta Lake.
• Experience with Python for data engineering, transformations, and automation.
• Power BI skills: dataset and semantic model design, DAX fundamentals, and report performance management.
• Working knowledge of React and component-based UI design for backend-to-UI integration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and cloud platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience coordinating distributed or offshore engineering teams.
• Proven track record in leading technical upskilling initiatives.
