Description

Lead technical implementation and development within the Guidewire ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Build web and mobile services and single-page applications using modular, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with team members and project sponsors to deliver technical requirements.
• Apply Agile methodologies to manage development workflows and project delivery.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience working with the Guidewire suite, Guidewire xEngage, or Guidewire integration capabilities and APIs.
• 7+ years of software development experience using web technologies.
• 2+ years of experience with React.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SASS.
• Knowledge of Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience with automated unit testing using Jest, Enzyme, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with server-side technologies including JSON/RPC and REST.
• Experience in the insurance industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent higher education qualification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Jutro, Guidewire’s design system.
