Description

You will own the technical direction, architecture, and delivery of the platform, stabilizing and scaling the system while leading a small engineering team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Assess current system architecture and technical debt to establish a clear path forward.
• Define and enforce development standards, architecture decisions, and engineering practices.
• Lead and mentor developers, setting expectations for quality, speed, and accountability.
• Architect and support scalable, enterprise-grade systems and modernize existing components.
• Design and implement REST APIs for internal and external integrations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of full stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Django.
• Proven experience architecting large-scale enterprise applications.
• Strong experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
• Strong front-end capability in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience designing and building REST APIs.
• Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Django REST Framework (DRF).
• Experience with Redis, Docker, or Kubernetes.
