Description

You will lead Splunk Observability Cloud implementation, monitoring, and architectural consulting for application support and infrastructure teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain custom Splunk searches, alerts, and saved reports for proactive monitoring.
• Define best practices for Splunk deployment, configuration, and administration to reduce major incidents.
• Implement advanced search and reporting capabilities using SPL and ITSI integration.
• Monitor system performance, ensure optimal resource utilization, and manage alert capabilities.
• Provide architectural consulting and mentoring to internal teams on Splunk Observability Cloud solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years of hands-on Splunk Observability Cloud expertise.
• Deep knowledge of Splunk deployment, configuration, and administration.
• Proficiency in SPL (Search Processing Language) for advanced search and reporting.
• Experience integrating tools like ServiceNow and AWS with Splunk Observability Cloud.
• Fair understanding of cloud services, databases, and operating systems.
• Experience in infrastructure instrumentation of prime technologies into Splunk.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud Architect experience.
