Description

You will lead the design and implementation of real-time data modernization solutions, focusing on scalable APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement modern real-time data transfer solutions into OLTP platforms using Apache Kafka.
• Build scalable APIs, microservices, and distributed systems for high-throughput data streaming.
• Leverage AI/ML techniques to accelerate data migration, reconciliation, and platform modernization.
• Drive technical leadership, establishing best practices across engineering initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, logging, and monitoring solutions for reliable system performance.

Required Skills

• 8–10+ years of application development experience with Java or Python.
• Deep expertise in Apache Kafka, including installation, configuration, and development.
• Strong background in REST API development, backend services, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and real-time data streaming systems.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases within distributed environments.
• Practical implementation experience with AI/ML integration and data engineering.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, logging, and monitoring solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS cloud platform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Background in serverless architectures and real-time analytics.
