Description

You will lead the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of IP21 Data Historian systems and OPC servers.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain IP21 (Aspentech) and OPC servers (Matrikon, Kepware, or IGS).
• Oversee integration between historian systems and control systems including PLC, SCADA, and DCS.
• Design and deliver solutions for monitoring, data analytics, and reporting.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within historian and control systems to minimize downtime.
• Provide technical leadership to junior team members and ensure compliance with ITIL support practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of total professional experience, including 4-8 years specifically in Data Historian roles.
• Deep expertise in IP21 (Aspentech) Data Historian systems.
• Hands-on experience with OPC servers such as Matrikon, Kepware, or IGS.
• Strong understanding of Control Systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS) and their interfaces.
• Proficiency in SQL scripting and SQL for data management.
• Experience using PowerBI and PowerApps for data reporting and analysis.
• Working knowledge of C# and Java.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, including change, incident, and problem management.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in energy resources and trading sectors.
