You will lead strategic data migration projects from legacy systems to Azure Fabric, providing architectural guidance and mentoring in cloud data engineering.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and execute data migration from legacy platforms to Azure Fabric.
• Design scalable and reliable data engineering solutions.
• Mentor and guide developers through design, development, and deployment phases.
• Optimize performance using Python and T-SQL.
• Drive best practices in data modeling, ingestion, transformation, and governance.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong expertise in Python and T-SQL.
• Experience migrating from legacy systems to cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in Power BI for analytics and visualization.
• Leadership in technical teams and conducting code reviews.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Synapse Analytics.
• Experience working in regulated or large enterprise environments.
