Description

Lead the design, development, and technical resolution of embedded automotive software systems, with a focus on Battery Management Systems (BMS).

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, requirements, and application layer development for BMS systems.
• Own the full development lifecycle of bootloaders, device drivers, and application software.
• Guide the team in resolving complex software and hardware issues using Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Oversee software quality through rigorous code reviews, modular design practices, and static analysis.
• Manage customer interactions and provide technical support throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in the automotive domain with hands-on AUTOSAR architecture expertise.
• Proficiency in Embedded C and C++ programming.
• Experience with MISRA standards and code optimization techniques.
• Hands-on experience with communication protocols: CAN, LIN, I2C, I2S, SPI, Ethernet, and UART.
• Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, including PowerPCs and multiprocessors.
• Experience with UT, IT, and System testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in Python and shell scripting for automation.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git, Azure, or SVN.
• Competency with requirement management tools like JAMA, DOORS, or IBM toolchains.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading technical teams in a customer-facing environment.
