Description

Lead engineering efforts to architect and maintain scalable, low-latency trading platforms on AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, enforcing SOLID principles and code quality.
• Architect cloud-native solutions using .NET Core and AWS services for high availability.
• Contribute to core framework development and conduct rigorous code reviews.
• Optimize complex database schemas and query performance for real-time trading data.
• Oversee system health, performance tuning, and incident response for mission-critical applications.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in .NET / .NET Core (C#) building high-throughput microservices and APIs.
• Proven experience designing cloud-native architectures using AWS (Lambda, EC2, EKS, ECS, S3, SQS/SNS, API Gateway).
• Strong proficiency with Relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB, Aurora).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of Kafka, FIX protocol, Order Management Systems (OMS), and Execution Management Systems (EMS).
• Ability to translate technical constraints into business requirements for stakeholders.
• Experience resolving architectural bottlenecks in high-pressure, capital markets environments.

Preferred Skills

• Deep understanding of market data feeds and risk management systems.
• Background in optimizing latency for financial trading infrastructure.
