Description

You will lead the design, development, and modernization of financial services applications using a modern architectural approach.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Manage and guide software engineers through code reviews, mentorship, and technical coaching.
• Break down broad deliverables into actionable building blocks to ensure timely completion.
• Own technical design, infrastructure strategy, and deployment processes for team deliverables.
• Partner with product owners and technology leaders to align roadmaps and brainstorm integration approaches.
• Monitor service performance, uptime, and health while removing complex technical impediments.

Required Skills

• 3-7 years of hands-on experience with Java, Springboot, Python, Node.js, React, or Angular.
• 3-5 years of experience leading small to mid-sized engineering teams.
• Experience developing applications within the AWS stack using ECS and containers.
• Proficiency with GitHub, Kong, or APIGEE.
• Practical understanding of authentication and authorization enforcement in Java services.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Bachelor of Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent related experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with firmwide systems modernization strategies and large-scale technical design.
