Description

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Java-based applications while coordinating delivery across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and J2EE frameworks.
• Coordinate with business units and stakeholders to perform impact analysis and propose technical solutions.
• Manage deliverables by coordinating with offshore teams to ensure timely execution.
• Provide technical support through testing, SIT, and UAT phases to ensure system stability.
• Implement and utilize testing frameworks like JUnit to ensure code quality and reliability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Experience building SOAP and REST services.
• Deep understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Working knowledge of Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience with JBoss application servers and Unix utilities.
• Proficiency with Git, Bitbucket, Jira, and Jenkins.
• Ability to use JUnit for testing implementation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing offshore delivery workflows.
