Description

Lead Jira administration and configuration for our engineering teams. Own the stability, performance, and scalability of Jira Cloud instances.

Responsibilities

• Administer Jira Software and Jira Service Desk, managing user roles, groups, and project permissions.
• Configure custom workflows, screens, fields, permissions, and notification schemes to align with business processes.
• Build custom dashboards, filters, and JQL queries to provide real-time reporting and insights.
• Automate repetitive tasks using Jira built-in automation, JMWE, or scripting to improve efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex Jira issues, perform system maintenance, and ensure seamless integration with Confluence, Bitbucket, Slack, and CI/CD tools.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Jira Administration, specifically with Jira Cloud, Jira Service Desk, and Jira Software.
• Expert proficiency in configuring workflows, custom fields, screens, and notification schemes.
• Strong command of Jira Query Language (JQL) for advanced reporting and dashboard creation.
• Experience with Jira Automation, JMWE, and other plugins for workflow automation.
• Ability to manage integrations with Confluence, Bitbucket, Slack, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and scripting for advanced customizations.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and ITSM practices.

Preferred Skills

• Atlassian Certified Professional – Jira Administrator certification.
• Experience leading teams and mentoring junior administrators.
