Description

Lead the design and development of portal-based web applications using the Java stack. Translate business requirements into technical designs using UML, ER diagrams, and wireframing. Supervise development teams and conduct code reviews to ensure standards. Own technical documentation, POCs, and reusable design patterns. Manage integration, security, and non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of portal-based web applications.

• Develop microservices-based solutions and implement system components.
• Own technical documentation, POCs, and reusable design patterns.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of hands-on experience in design and development for portal-based web applications.
• Direct experience with Liferay 7.4.
• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, JSP, XML, Ajax, Spring, and SOAP.
• Experience with HTML5, jQuery, and AngularJS.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL databases, Design Patterns, and Integration patterns.
• Experience with Jenkins, Gradle, Maven, and GIT.
• Competency in Kaleo workflow, Web Services, and RESTful Web services.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of UI Path, Pentaho, Jasper, and BIRT.
• Experience with CI/CD, application deployment, and performance modelling.
