Description

Lead technical delivery and design of API-centric projects within a banking context, managing IBM API Connect Gateway and migration efforts.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise API developers, testers, and engineers to resolve day-to-day technical constraints.
• Design RESTful API patterns, advanced proxies, and developer portals using IBM API Connect V5/V10.
• Implement BaaS, analytics, and API design following BIAN Framework standards.
• Drive software development through CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, and Maven.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and solve complex analytical problems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of technical leadership or management experience.
• Expertise in IBM API Connect (V5/V10) and API design best practices.
• Deep understanding of REST fundamentals and OpenAPI (Swagger 2.0/3.x) using JSON.
• Hands-on experience with Postman for advanced API testing.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools including GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Nexus, and Maven.
• Experience applying the BIAN Framework within the banking sector.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apigee, MuleSoft, or Kong design toolkits.
