Good to Have Skills: Asset management operations domain knowledge including reference data, trade capture, positions, valuations, and client reporting. Experience in hybrid work environments with structured communication and remote collaboration tools. IBM Certified Database Administrator DB2 and ITIL Foundation certifications are preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead complex mainframe application design and development using PL1 JCL DB2 and IBM mainframe utilities to deliver stable and high performing enterprise solutions.
• Oversee end to end lifecycle of CA Gen based applications from impact analysis and design through build test and deployment.
• Provide hands on technical guidance on the effective use of Microsoft GitHub Copilot to accelerate coding tasks and improve code readability.
• Coordinate closely with product owners business analysts and operations partners to translate functional needs into efficient mainframe designs.
• Drive continuous improvement of batch and online processing by tuning JCL optimizing DB2 queries and refining PL1 logic.
• Ensure robust application stability by defining and implementing standards for error handling logging and recovery in mainframe components.
• Perform detailed code reviews and quality checks on PL1 CA Gen and JCL deliverables identifying defects early.
• Partner with IT service management teams to refine incident problem and change processes for mainframe releases and enhancements.
• Collaborate with testing teams to define effective test strategies test data needs and regression coverage for critical business flows.
• Apply knowledge of IBM mainframe utilities for data migration file management and environment housekeeping supporting secure operations.
• Monitor system performance metrics and operational dashboards to anticipate capacity needs and propose improvements for business growth.
• Mentor engineers in the thoughtful adoption of Microsoft GitHub Copilot demonstrating prompt techniques and code validation habits
