Description

Lead hands-on development of client-facing wealth management tools, owning the full stack from backend services to frontend components.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services using Python and AWS Lambda, optimizing for performance and reduced cold starts.
• Develop modern frontend components using Angular 14+ and TypeScript, improving UI performance and state management.
• Design reusable components, technical patterns, and coding standards to ensure consistency across the team.
• Lead technical design and ensure alignment with serverless and event-driven architecture principles.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshoot cross-platform issues, and mentor developers on best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience, including strong hands-on experience as a Technical Lead or Senior Full Stack Engineer.
• Expert-level Python development experience with a focus on backend services.
• Hands-on experience with Angular 14+ and TypeScript for building scalable frontend applications.
• Strong experience building backend services using AWS Lambda.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services including SQS, SNS, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
• Experience designing and building event-driven microservices and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of serverless architecture and cloud-native development patterns.
• Experience with API design, integration patterns, and debugging performance bottlenecks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in wealth management, investment platforms, portfolio management, or financial planning tools.
• Experience integrating legacy platforms into modern AWS-based ecosystems.
