Description

Lead the design and development of APIs and integration layers within an Azure-based microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement REST-based APIs and integration layers.
• Develop and deploy Azure Functions, App Services, and microservices.
• Build highly available applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Azure Fabric.
• Manage NuGet dependencies and maintain CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps.
• Implement security protocols, including SSO integration and Auth Token consumption.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of software engineering experience, with progression to a Lead role.
• 6+ years of experience as a Tech Lead focusing on APIs and integration.
• 5+ years of experience building REST-based APIs using .NET Web API.
• 3+ years of experience with .NET Core 3.1 and .NET 6.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building applications on the Azure Platform.
• Experience with Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure Cosmos, Azure Redis, and Azure Event Hub.
• Proficiency with Azure Service Bus, Event Grids, API Gateway, and API Management (APIM) policies.
• Experience using ARM templates for resource creation and Azure DevOps for pipelines and releases.
• Strong knowledge of SOLID principles, design patterns, and xUnit or NUnit with Moq, AutoFac, or NSubstitute.
• 2+ years of experience with SSO integration (ForgeRock, Ping Identity, or Okta) and OAuth, SAML, or JWT.
• Experience with Fluent Validation and NuGet dependency management.
