Description

Lead the design and implementation of scalable REST-based microservices and integration models.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable REST-based microservices capable of handling millions of requests.
• Translate business requirements into technical microservices and integration models.
• Build security models featuring appropriate access control, policies, and authentication.
• Design deployment models for microservices and their integration with various channels.
• Communicate technical designs to executive teams.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of software engineering experience with career progression to a Lead role.
• 6+ years as a Tech Lead focusing on APIs and integration layers.
• 5+ years building REST-based APIs using .NET Web API.
• 3+ years working with .NET 3.1 and .NET 6.
• 3+ years of experience building applications on the Azure platform.
• Hands-on experience with Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure Cosmos, Azure Redis, or Azure Event Hub.
• Experience with Azure Service Bus, Event Grids, Azure API Gateway, and Azure APIM policy creation.
• Proficiency with Azure Functions, App Services, ARM templates, and AKS or Azure Fabrics.
• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and releases.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of SSO integration experience with IAM providers like ForgeRock, Ping Identity, or Okta.
• Knowledge of OAuth, SAML, and JWT token consumption.
• Bachelor's degree.
