Description

You will lead the architecture and development of backend services and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and development of backend services and APIs using Express.js and Node.js.
• Define architecture patterns, integration strategies, and API design for commerce services.
• Guide team implementation of CI/CD pipelines, code quality standards, and release management using Azure DevOps.
• Provide technical leadership through mentoring, code reviews, and enforcing best practices.
• Collaborate with product owners and architects to align technical solutions with business goals.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of full-stack/backend development experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Node.js and Express.js.
• 2+ years as a Technical Lead or Team Lead.
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, event-driven architecture, and microservices.
• Experience with cloud-native applications on Azure (Azure Functions, Azure App Services).
• Familiarity with OAuth2 and secure API practices.
• Experience integrating third-party services such as payment gateways, CMS, or search engines.
• Experience working with e-Commerce platforms, particularly headless commerce.
