Description

Lead the technical direction for backend service development and data engineering.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead backend microservices using Python and FastAPI.
• Design API Gateway, Data, and Optimization Services.
• Productionize optimization models with observable interfaces.
• Consolidate ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Define scalable PostgreSQL data architecture and enforce CI/CD, Trunk-Based Development, and clean architecture.

Required Skills

• 7+ years in software engineering with technical leadership experience.
• Expert proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Pydantic, AsyncIO).
• Strong experience in Data Engineering and ETL Pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and microservices architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Gurobi integration experience.
• Experience with AKS and distributed teams.
