Description

Lead the architecture and delivery of cloud-native Java microservices on AWS, managing the full SDLC from design to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS services.
• Design and implement event-driven systems using Apache Kafka and REST APIs.
• Manage containerized deployments and orchestration via Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/ECS).
• Drive CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins and ensure application performance tuning.
• Mentor development teams and manage stakeholder expectations in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development and Spring Boot microservices architecture.
• Strong expertise in AWS Cloud services, including EKS, ECS, and cloud-native application design.
• Proficiency with Apache Kafka for messaging systems and integration patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/ECS) for container orchestration.
• Solid understanding of database technologies including MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Aurora.
• Experience with API security (OAuth, SSO) and MuleSoft/API Gateway integrations.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, JIRA) and Agile delivery methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to ReactJS for frontend integration.
• Experience with Marketing Cloud tools (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio).
