Description

You will lead development teams in designing and delivering cloud-native Java applications and large-scale data pipelines on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams across multiple projects.
• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines and high-volume data processing workflows using AWS Glue and other services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend modernization strategies for legacy systems.
• Oversee AWS architecture implementation, including VPC, ECS/EKS, and serverless components, while optimizing for cost and reliability.
• Enforce development best practices, conduct code reviews, and ensure data integrity across backend systems.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in software development with strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, and Hibernate.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including VPC, EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, API Gateway, and Glue.
• Proven track record of building enterprise-level data lakes and creating AWS ETL jobs for high-volume data pipelines.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in complex queries, debugging, and performance tuning for relational databases.
• Experience modernizing legacy applications and migrating systems to cloud-native environments.
• Practical experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD processes, and automation tools.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
