Description

You will act as a technical advisor to clients, leveraging data warehousing expertise to solve complex business challenges and develop Teradata-based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Application Development teams to implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual data models.
• Design, develop, test, and support ETL processes and frameworks for loading data from source systems into data warehouses and data marts.
• Analyze and optimize current solutions through physical model optimization and query tuning.
• Execute the entire DWH implementation lifecycle, from logical and physical data modeling to deployment.
• Manage simultaneous projects by foreseeing technical impacts and making strategic decisions.

Required Skills

• 10-12 years of experience in Data Warehousing, including 4-6 years as a technical lead delivering DWH projects.
• Deep knowledge of the entire DWH implementation lifecycle and ETL frameworks.
• Expertise in logical and physical data modeling using the Erwin tool.
• Proficiency with Teradata, Oracle, or IBM enterprise relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with Teradata database architecture, including TD SQLs, PI, MLPPI, compression, and data type rightsizing.
• Domain knowledge in Telco, Banking, Investment Banking, or Insurance industry data processes.
• Experience with Teradata Communication (c-LDM) or Financial Services (FS-LDM) models.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to travel short-term and long-term for project assignments.
