Description

Lead the design and development of scalable, secure data platforms and pipelines. Own the architecture for intelligent applications using cloud-native technologies.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build sustainable data warehouses and ELT pipelines focusing on performance and security.
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimize performance for large datasets.
• Design data models and architecture diagrams aligned with business requirements.
• Implement data quality initiatives, monitoring, and auditing standards.
• Oversee data visualization and reporting using Looker, ensuring clarity and governance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering or ELT roles.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL optimization and query development.
• Advanced experience with Snowflake and DBT.
• Competent in Python, PySpark, and handling unstructured data (Parquet, JSON, AVRO, XML).
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Apache Airflow, and Astronomer for orchestration.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and software testing.
• Experience with FiveTran for data integration.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, or Docker.
