Description

You will lead the technical migration of MOVEit jobs to Snowflake, providing hands-on guidance to an agile team.

Responsibilities

• Implement codified and repeatable migration patterns for varying job complexities.
• Design and build a migration factory using codified scripts and common plugins to automate job migrations.
• Develop ETL/ELT logic to automate data collection, pipelines, quality monitoring, and data processes.
• Perform problem analysis for complex configurations and execute installation, configuration, and tuning.
• Contribute to strategic planning, architecture design, and functional requirement recommendations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Data Architecture and Data Warehousing experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience, including architecture and pipeline building.
• Expertise in Snowflake data modeling, Snowpipe ELT, and stored procedures.
• Proficiency in Snowflake features including RBAC, resource monitors, virtual warehouses, query tuning, Zero Copy Clone, and Time Travel.
• Advanced SQL and SQL analytics skills.
• Experience with data ingestion patterns from multiple sources.
• Knowledge of communication protocols including SOAP, REST, AS2, PGP/GPG, HTTPS, SFTP, and Web Services.
• Familiarity with industry data standards such as ACH, ANSI X12, EDIFACT, HIPAA, or SWIFT.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise databases like Oracle RAC, DB2, or MS SQL Server.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within the financial services industry.
