You will lead technical direction and hands-on development for secure, high-quality production systems in a finance domain.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to business teams, contractors, and vendors while driving system design and application functionality decisions.
• Design, develop, review, and debug production code using Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Serve as a subject matter expert to influence architectural choices and advocate for modern engineering best practices.
• Promote adoption of emerging technologies and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
• Ensure operational stability through rigorous application development, testing, and production support.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience with a Tier-1 company background.
• Strong programming proficiency in Java and Python (40% each), with C# or JavaScript (20%).
• Recent hands-on experience in FinTech or Banking domains.
• Deep expertise in system design, architecture, and secure coding practices.
• Practical cloud-native development experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of SDLC standards, frameworks, and tools.
• Ability to independently solve complex design and functional problems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM) projects.
• Background supporting enterprise-scale financial systems.
