Description

You will lead end-to-end Veeva Vault data migration activities, owning the strategy, execution, validation, and cutover planning.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute data migration strategies, cutover plans, and rollback approaches for large datasets.
• Finalize source-to-target mapping and data transformation rules for object and document migration.
• Execute migrations using Vault Loader, custom tools, and Veeva APIs, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Develop custom scripts in Java or Python to automate migration processes and data processing.
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies, perform reconciliation, and maintain technical documentation aligned with SDLC processes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise data migration, with a strong focus on Veeva Vault.
• Expert knowledge of the Veeva Vault data model, including documents, records, metadata, and relationships.
• Hands-on experience with ETL concepts and tooling.
• Strong understanding of Veeva Vault architecture and security models.
• Proficiency in Java or Python for developing migration scripts and automation.
• Proven ability to lead teams under tight deadlines and customer pressure.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Veeva Vault Quality and supporting Quality Management processes in Life Sciences.
• Exposure to CPG or regulated industries.
