Description

Lead a technical team of Java developers while remaining hands-on with backend architecture, API integration, and cloud deployments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of Java engineers to deliver high-quality enterprise applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs (JSON and SOAP) using Spring Boot and Java JDK 8+.
• Perform code reviews, enforce development best practices, and guide technical decisions.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and manage version control with Git.
• Monitor application performance using Splunk and optimize SQL Server queries.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Java backend development.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA, and Maven.
• Proficiency in building and consuming REST APIs and working with SQL databases.
• Experience with multithreading, distributed systems, and messaging queues.
• Solid understanding of design patterns and performance optimization.
• Proficiency with GitHub, Jenkins, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with AWS cloud-native development platforms.
• Proven leadership experience managing technical teams in large-scale projects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with front-end technologies: ReactJS, Redux, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Splunk or other application monitoring tools.
