Description

Lead a distributed team of 28 engineers supporting an Azure-based IoT platform managing 20,000+ devices.

Responsibilities

• Manage a hybrid team of 10 US-based and 18 offshore members.
• Develop and execute technical strategies for real-time, 24/7 data reporting.
• Facilitate team meetings and maintain organizational structure across time zones.
• Oversee the processing and analysis of streaming data from a data lake.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical leadership or management roles.
• Proven experience managing both onshore and offshore engineering teams.
• Deep understanding of IoT architectures and streaming data requirements.
• Experience managing platforms with large-scale device connectivity (20k+ devices).
• Hands-on knowledge of Azure-based IoT environments.
• Proficiency in big data processing and analyzing data from data lakes.
• Ability to manage real-time, 24/7 data reporting systems.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
