Description

You will lead IT Application Development Managers and take overall responsibility for a set of related applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical teams through code reviews, design, and architecture processes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for application lifecycles, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and decommissioning.
• Drive issues to consensus and manage stakeholder relationships at all levels.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee complex systems development.
• Oversee application development across APIs, web-based apps, and cloud-based systems.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of IT experience, specifically in application development and large-scale applications.
• Expertise in Java, Spring, SpringBoot, and Hibernate ORM.
• Extensive experience with APIs, API-led connectivity, and SOA.
• Strong database skills with 4+ years of Oracle or SQL Server experience.
• Hands-on experience with JMS and enterprise integration architecture patterns.
• Deep understanding of security protocols including OAuth, Basic Auth, and SSL/TLS.
• Proficiency with Jenkins, BitBucket, and JIRA.
• Practical knowledge of TCP/IP and web development.
• Experience working within Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• MuleSoft Certified Developer or Architect with 3+ hands-on project implementations.
• Background in banking or finance, specifically Capital Markets, Wealth Management, or Regulatory Reporting.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
