Description

You will lead a technical team and oversee Big Data architecture for an Asset Management client.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 15-20 professionals using an onshore-offshore model.
• Oversee data cleansing, validation, and the development of Data Lake solutions.
• Participate in Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, and Product Roadmap discussions.
• Review and approve design changes to ensure scalability and adherence to best practices.
• Resolve technical escalations through leadership and cross-team collaboration.

Required Skills

• 10-15 years of IT experience with 3-4 years focused on Big Data technologies.
• Proficiency in Scala, Java, Oracle, Kafka, and HDFS.
• Deep understanding of Data Lake concepts, data cleansing, and validation.
• Experience managing teams of 15-20 people in distributed environments.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong ability to lead technical discussions and communicate solutions to stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications in Cloudera, Oracle, or Scala.
