Description

Lead technical operations and serve as Subject Matter Expert for firewall, VPN, and proxy security infrastructures in Singapore.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) VPN implementations and deep troubleshooting.
• Manage implementation, customization, coding, and support for Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls.
• Perform SME-level analysis on SSL interception, MITM, and data leakage prevention.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and deploy security solutions.
• Assess network security posture to document current/future states and provide implementation roadmaps.

Required Skills

• 10-13+ years of experience in Cyber Security focusing on Firewall, VPN, and IPS.
• Hands-on expertise with Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls.
• Deep experience with Zscaler VPN and Proxy technologies (Forward, Reverse, Transparent, and Web 2.0).
• Proficiency with Network Protocol Analyzers such as tcpdump and Wireshark.
• Advanced understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, FTP, SFTP, SNMP, SMTP, SSH, SSL, DNS, RDP, HTTP, and HTTPS.
• Knowledge of web and application servers including Apache, IIS, Tomcat, and WebSphere.
• Experience with Security Incident Event Management (SIEM) and ITIL frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Checkpoint firewalls.
• Familiarity with IBM QRadar SIEM.
• Experience using Service Management tools like ServiceNow, ISM, or BMC Remedy.
