Description

Lead technical operations and production support for a microservices-based architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot P1, P2, and P3 production incidents during and outside of Australian business hours.
• Lead weekly release management meetings to review planned changes and secure approvals.
• Partner with project and operations teams to transfer knowledge and improve production support capabilities.
• Analyze microservices and application flows to propose architectural and process improvements.
• Act as the primary escalation point for after-hours technical issues.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of professional experience in software engineering or technical operations.
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Docker, and Kafka.
• Proven experience working within AWS environments.
• Deep understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes.
• Ability to read and understand Go and Node.js codebases.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• Strong communication skills for managing stakeholders in complex, multi-regional environments.
