Description

Design and oversee complex cloud architectures for the trading and financial investment banking domain.

Responsibilities

• Design multi-tier architectures using microservices and cloud-native patterns.
• Lead implementation of compute, container, and orchestration technologies.
• Manage integration patterns using event-driven and messaging technologies.
• Oversee observability and monitoring strategies across distributed systems.
• Drive technical standards for CI/CD pipelines and agile software releases.

Required Skills

• 13+ years of IT experience with at least 8 years in a technical capacity.
• AWS Solution Architect certification is mandatory.
• Mandatory domain experience in Trading and financial investment banking.
• Deep expertise in AWS (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and Compute/Container technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, and Lambda/Serverless.
• Proficiency in Java (Core, EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud) and Python.
• Experience with RDBMS (MySQL, Postgres), NoSQL, and Storage (S3, EBS).
• Hands-on with API development (GraphQL, REST, API Gateway).
• Experience with messaging technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SNS, SQS).
• Knowledge of caching solutions (Elasticache/Redis, Hazelcast, EHCache).
• Competency in DevOps/CI/CD tools (Git, Bitbucket, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Sonar).
• Experience with observability tools (Dynatrace, CloudWatch, Grafana, Splunk, Datadog).
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and JIRA.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS Engineering, ECE, EEE, IT, MCA, or MSc Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GitLab.
