Description

You will act as the primary liaison between executive sponsors and engineering teams to drive requirement elicitation and solution design.

Responsibilities

  • Translate complex business problems into functional technical solutions, including data mapping, API evaluations, and interface solutioning.
  • Break down business requirements into concise JIRA tickets, including Epics, User Stories, and Tasks with defined Acceptance Criteria.
  • Create technical documentation and diagrams such as BPMN, Wireframes, UML, and functional diagrams for engineering and business users.
  • Manage multiple work streams, assess priorities, and maintain project timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Contribute to the product backlog by suggesting features to improve usability and defining technical requirements for the development team.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in IT Business Analysis, including 3-5 years specifically in e-commerce.
  • Proven experience in requirements elicitation and translating needs into technical specifications for web-based applications.
  • Proficiency with JIRA for managing backlogs and task breakdown.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies and application development lifecycles.
  • Strong technical writing skills for creating User Stories and detailed documentation.
  • Ability to create logical diagrams using BPMN, UML, and Wireframes.
  • Experience in technical integration and system analysis.
  • Strong facilitation skills to lead structured requirements definition sessions.
  • Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Shopify or Product Information Management (PIM) systems.
