Description

Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for enterprise IT and transportation technology solutions, translating complex business needs into technical specifications and governing platform compliance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions to transform vague business requests into structured product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects and security teams to evaluate technical feasibility, manage dependencies, and ensure adherence to federal compliance and IT governance frameworks.
• Define buy-vs-build strategies by evaluating APIs, data integration plans, and existing software capabilities within the IT and Transportation Tech markets.
• Establish protocols for consistent documentation, including technical policies, operating procedures, and training materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Optimize IT project intake and prioritization processes using data-driven insights to improve request quality and operational efficiency.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of product management or technical program management experience, preferably in government, enterprise IT, or transportation technology.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow, AWS, Azure, and API architecture.
• Experience translating complex business processes into technical specifications and system architecture maps.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships across engineering, operations, and executive leadership.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, GIS/spatial data systems, or enterprise service platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
• Experience overseeing outsourced or contractor-led software development efforts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with state agency security protocols and strict regulatory compliance standards.
• Background in developing technical policies and agency guidance documentation.
