Description

Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for enterprise transportation technology solutions, translating business requirements into technical specifications and governing platform compliance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions to analyze user needs and transform business requests into structured, prioritized product backlogs and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects and security teams to evaluate technical feasibility, manage system dependencies, and mitigate technical risks.
• Ensure all product features conform to internal IT governance frameworks, state agency security protocols, and federal compliance standards.
• Establish documentation protocols for developed solutions and present status updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Optimize IT project intake and prioritization processes using data-driven insights and standardize operating procedures.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of product management or technical program management experience.
• Experience within a government agency, enterprise IT, or transportation technology ecosystem.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (Azure or AWS) and data pipelines.
• Knowledge of GIS/spatial data systems or enterprise service platforms like ServiceNow.
• Ability to translate complex business processes into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills for executive reporting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience overseeing outsourced or contractor-led software development efforts.
• Knowledge of buy-vs-build strategies for APIs and data integration plans.
