Description

You will define and deliver software application solutions for regulated medical devices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define use cases, system diagrams, workflows, and software requirements.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to design system and data flow solutions.
• Generate software engineering policies, standards, and procedures.
• Support software root cause and risk analysis to drive critical quality improvements.
• Establish software lifecycle metrics and quality standards to monitor system efficiency.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Computer, or Biomedical discipline with 4+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 2+ years.
• Experience working in a regulated environment, specifically with medical device software or SaMD guidelines.
• Expertise in defining user stories and requirements using JIRA.
• Proficiency with data formats including JSON, YAML, and Protobuf.
• Experience with data sharing APIs and healthcare application ecosystems.
• Strong background in medical device data processing and visualization.
• Ability to define system and data flow designs in collaboration with technical teams.
• Experience with configuration management and data management frameworks.
• Analytical skills to perform root cause analysis and impact assessments.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of software methodologies and metrics using LucidChart, Swagger, and Integrity.
• Experience with diabetes-related medical device software and terminologies.
