Good to Have Skills: Experience with Python data science stack and LLM ecosystem, proficiency in Linux environment with shell scripting, understanding of modern statistics including time-series and signal processing, text mining, or image processing. Optional experience in PHM, predictive maintenance, traffic modelling, NLP, video analytics, or sequence mining. Familiarity with Git and release management would be beneficial.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data-driven solutions while integrating engineering aspects and evaluating financial impacts
• Implement feature selection and extraction methods to improve machine learning models and derive interpretable insights
• Build and optimize machine learning models including both supervised and unsupervised approaches for mobility solutions
• Assess and enhance the quality of incoming data and model outputs using appropriate evaluation metrics
• Collaborate closely with domain experts across the business to define and meet specific business requirements
• Create comprehensive reports and explanatory materials to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders and teams
• Evaluate opportunities from emerging mathematical approaches and data science technologies for continuous improvement
• Apply strong testing and quality assurance practices to ensure reliable and robust solutions
• Work alongside engineering experts, data engineers, DevOps/MLOps engineers, and HMI designers on collaborative projects
• Contribute to building AI/ML software modules to enhance customer performance and experience

Experience Required: 12+ years of experience as Data Science/ML Expert and managing teams of Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Data Engineers and related professionals

Education: Masters Degree in computer science or engineering, supplemented by training in data science/ML or related disciplines
