Description

You will lead end-to-end delivery of custom application projects, managing scope, timelines, and milestones from requirements gathering through deployment. You will drive sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and release management while proactively identifying and mitigating risks and dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical requirements and review designs for alignment with security and scalability standards.
• Guide development teams building custom web, mobile, API, and backend applications, leveraging your background as a developer.
• Partner with business teams, product owners, QA, and security to ensure stakeholder alignment and act as the single point of contact for program updates.
• Implement Agile/Scrum practices, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate UAT, deployment planning, and production rollout activities.

Required Skills

• 5–10+ years of experience in Technical Program Management with direct involvement in custom application development.
• Strong understanding of Python, .NET, and Java application architectures; must have prior experience as a custom application developer in one of these stacks.
• Proficiency with modern application technologies including Web/Mobile frameworks, APIs, microservices, and database integration patterns.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Gen AI code generation tools (Cursor, Windsurf, Claude, Copilot) and prompt engineering, with daily usage of these tools.
• Solid experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and managing distributed global teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications: PMP, CSM, SAFe, or equivalent.
• Experience with enterprise-scale custom apps or large digital transformation programs.
