Description

Lead technical solutions, documentation, and implementation within set timelines. Own the full project lifecycle, manage tasks, and make critical design decisions. Consult users for methodology compliance and requirement accuracy. Coordinate system testing and UAT. Provide technical support, developer specifications, and programming assistance. Mentor team members, resolve conflicts, and align tasks with development goals. Maintain project tracking, manage change processes, and mitigate risk.

Responsibilities

• Own the administration and lifecycle of projects, including managing multiple tasks and making critical design decisions.
• Consult with users to ensure methodology compliance, requirement accuracy, and that test plans align with design specifications.
• Coordinate and validate system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) processes.
• Provide technical support, detailed developer specifications, and assistance with programming.
• Maintain accurate project tracking, manage change processes, and mitigate project risk.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of IT experience, specifically within a mainframe development environment.
• 3+ years of experience in Project Management.
• Hands-on experience with IBM Mainframe MVS/TSO and COBOL.
• Proficiency with DB2, Stored Procedures, and SQL.
• Experience with JCL, VSAM, and CICS.
• Technical familiarity with SCLM, SPUFI, and PL/SQL Developer.
• Working knowledge of MS Project, File-AID, and Sort/ICETOOL.
• Proven ability in client management, expectation setting, and relationship building.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
