Description

Lead mainframe technical solutions, project lifecycles, and implementation within set timelines.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Own project administration, lifecycle management, and critical design decisions.
• Consult users to ensure methodology compliance, requirement accuracy, and test plan alignment.
• Coordinate and validate system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) processes.
• Provide technical support, developer specifications, and programming assistance.
• Maintain project tracking, manage change processes, and mitigate project risk.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of IT experience in a mainframe development environment.
• 3+ years of experience in Project Management.
• Hands-on experience with IBM Mainframe MVS/TSO and COBOL.
• Proficiency with DB2, Stored Procedures, and SQL.
• Experience with JCL, VSAM, and CICS.
• Technical familiarity with SCLM, SPUFI, and PL/SQL Developer.
• Working knowledge of MS Project, File-AID, and Sort/ICETOOL.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.

• Experience mentoring team members and resolving conflicts.
• Ability to align project tasks with professional development goals.
