Description

You will oversee transit infrastructure projects from initial design through construction completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects, including developing project charters, statements of work, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Oversee engineering design and construction projects using delivery methods such as design/bid/build, design/build, or CMAR.
• Monitor consultant and contractor adherence to contract terms, reviewing design and construction submittals at each stage.
• Control project budgets, resource allocation, risk analysis, and change management while monitoring monthly expenditures and cost projections.
• Coordinate with internal business units, IT, rail operations, and jurisdictional authorities to manage permitting and project execution.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of project management experience specifically on transit infrastructure design and construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of project procurement processes for professional services and construction contracts.
• Experience managing environmental and design consultants and construction contractors.
• Ability to lead value engineering sessions and monitor quality assurance/quality control plans.
• Proficiency in managing project implementation plans, risk analysis, and quality assurance.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent years of related experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience coordinating with IT and rail operations teams.
