Description

Manage project controls for construction capital projects, focusing on schedule development, cost tracking, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update project and Program Master schedules using Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis.
• Monitor project budgets, expenditures, invoicing, forecasts, cash flow projections, and contingency drawdowns.
• Implement and enforce change management procedures to assess impacts on contract scope, schedule, and budget.
• Perform schedule analysis using Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques and report progress to stakeholders.
• Review and approve contractor and vendor invoices in collaboration with Project Managers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience performing project control functions for capital projects.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent scheduling software.
• Expertise in critical path, earned value analysis, hard and soft dependencies, and resource leveling.
• Experience managing change control across multiple project schedule baselines.
• Ability to build and manage design and construction schedules and review contractor submissions.
• Knowledge of risk analysis, scope control, and quality assurance within the construction industry.
• Skill in reading and interpreting construction drawings, surveys, and contract documents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Planview (PPM Pro, Project Place, e-Builder, Aconex) and Power BI.
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP), or ACCEI-PSP certifications.
