Description

You will lead technical groups within the Portfolio Management group to deliver complex enterprise systems integration projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead experienced program and project managers by providing guidance on project management functions and governance.
• Coordinate technical teams and architects to identify dependencies, resolve delivery impediments, and develop solutions.
• Drive systems integration delivery from third-party vendors through to acceptance and project closure.
• Prepare and present executive-level communications regarding project tracking, stakeholder management, and product progress.
• Facilitate large group meetings involving both internal and external resources.

Required Skills

• 8 years of experience delivering technical programs and products in dispersed, multi-team environments.
• 8 years of experience with general IT SDLC processes and software development procedures.
• 8 years of experience using Jira to drive portfolio goals.
• Deep knowledge of Agile techniques including User Stories, Continuous Integration, ATDD, TDD, and Continuous Testing.
• Proficiency in Scrum and Agile software development methodologies.
• Experience managing .NET and Java-based application web systems.
• Knowledge of integration platforms, specifically MuleSoft ESB and CloudHub.
• Proven ability to develop technical specifications and supporting documentation in collaboration with functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.

Preferred Skills

• 5 years of experience working with State of Texas government agencies.
• 5 years of experience with multivendor and software professional services for enterprise customers or communication service providers.
• PMP certification.
